MATRESS STORE // InteriorDesign

Some months ago I was commissioned to design a
matress store in my town, the business was running
since 40 years ago, the owner wanted to change the
shop in a new area and space, bigger and with more
natural light. The shop is 180 square meters divided
in two floors.
the owner of the shop wanted to have a natural, and
warm space, where the costumers could see, try
and feel the matress in a relax way.
I used natural stained pin wood for the furniture, where
are show the house clothing, using the only wall of
the shop. Aswell, for the hanging sistem, I design all
of them with matt black iron structures, special for
the place and for the products.
Hanging between the two shop floors with the stairs
sorrounding, about 7 meters high I made a special piece,
where are hanging 3 lamps and white natural cotton
cords where can be hang all sort of products, usually
cushions.
Outside the store label, aswell follow the natural and
simple and warm athmosphere I wanted to created
inside. All the lighting is warm colour, and neutral,
so all the house bedding and clothing hightlighted from
the shop case.
I'm satisfied with the result, the intentions and resolutions
and in the end the outcome design.

PTT work transition program // WORKSHOP

PTT

This current year I've been working in special program
for youth, I had the duty to introduce them to new
creative views, showing them how to use materials
and skills to open her and his brain to a more creative
life,
I had the wonderfull chance to be with them while
they born and open themselve to the Our and Unique
Own Creativity, the window to the amazing world we
all have inside, ande we only have to take off.
I'm glad to share this experience, of one of the 7 months
workshop we been involved.

DRAWings // open air atelier

Works made on a very old and worn piece of wood
I found abandoned somewhere in my grandfather's
old atelier. The draws are made with pencil and black
pen, finished with a wall paint.

PAINTINGS

Some works I made last weeks, about working from inside to
outside, everything comes from the feelings of an old lives....
The paints help myself to walk in new paths of inspiration
and growing to new prespectives of soul-art-life
Acrilic, spray, wax and some pc help.

MISS SUNSHINE

sunshine

I created the personage of Miss Sunshine some time
ago, using fabric scraps I had found in an old fruit
box. After that I left it somewhere in my work place.
A couple of weeks ago I when up to my ateliers roof
and there came to me the idea of making pictures of her.
I used my everyday landscape to frame the sculpture.
What I really like here its the contrast between the
funny-curious-sympathic personage and the natural
scenery.

OLOT

MASSIAS SHOWROOM

dkdkdkdkd

I got the job to execute the autumm-winter showroom
for a fashion accessories shop. The showroom was set
up in a white walls gallery.
As usual in my works I didn't buy any material for making
the interior instead I used recicled cotton fabric from an
old clothes factory.
One part of the instalation was made with fabric strips of
diferents colours at the walls, and at the end of the room
I created a close round form, kind of haima made with
woollen scarfs, hats, gloves and green fluorescent light.

ATELIER

This is a special place for me, inspiration and memories
come true everytime Im there.
I found a really old and worn-out wood pieces, I fixed
them together and painted on, I used acrilic, wattercolour,
wax and rope.
I set up the painting in one of the working old tables I have
from my grandfather.

OIL // barrel lid

I made this work in my grandfather's atelier, I used
an old rusty oil barrel lid, with mirrors and sequin
(lentejuelas).
I wanted to create a contrast between the meaning
of the objects. The lid it's from a car's oil barrel, very
unnatural, but suddenly the mirrors shows green,
natural nice forrest. The sequin shows the power and
glamour of the money.
In wich kind of world are we living?

ROAD traffic post

Sometimes looking deep to the city streets and roads
I feel that everything it's standard and the same.
In me grow up the feeling to put some fun where hardly
exist.
The idea of making a road post came because I found
in my grandsfather's atelier an old iron tube and some
waste material like a plastic protector from a fruit boxes,
wire, tape, drawing pins, elastic band, metal shaving and
lentejuelas.

Tha'ts the result after combining materials and
colours, and how looks on the road.
