Tubes



For this Summer window work I took old abandoned pipes from
the street. I painted them with fluorescent paint, blue and yellow.
The tubes are suspended from the ceiling all the space shared with
the maniquies.
I also made with the pipes two side tables for exposing the fashion
accessoris.

For this project I decided to work with polyurethane expanded
foam, gecause I wanted to experiment with this changing material,,
first liquid and after strong and solid. I created first a thin wood base
and I spray with polyurethane the surface creating a form similar
to a butterfly. This sculptures were made for a window shop in
barcelona.
The small sculpture remains me, I don't know why,, Joan Miro,
an artist I admire and like very much, for his simplicity and clarity
about what he transmits.
